This is what will be in our new illustrated standard.
A to B = Length. Length equals or slightly exceeds height at withers (point G)
Shoulder angle (G – A – K) equals hip angle (H – B – C)
Ratio of Ribcage depth to leg length (J:I) = approximately 1:1
Points G and H are near to equal in height in a relaxed stance. H may be slightly lower than G, but should not be higher.
H – B, B – C and C – D lengths are equal. So are G – A and A – K.
Hock length (P) is no greater than 1/3 the height at hip (Q). (Hocks well let down)
E (rib length):F (loin length) = 2:1
Length of head (L) is approximately equal to the length of the neck from occiput to withers (O)
Length of muzzle (M) is equal to length of back skull (N)
